Techcess logoTechcess is looking for a person based in the SW Midlands to undertake the role of AAC *Product Specialist covering Birmingham, Bristol & areas in SW UK.

Techcess is part of the Jabbla family – see www.techcess.co.uk & www.jabbla.com – We supply & support communication aids to people who have little or no voice output.  Techcess works closely with Jabbla & we are both passionate about supplying communication aids & relevant vocabularies that work for our customers. Techcess has regular meetings with Jabbla, both remote & at the Jabbla factory in Ghent, to discuss product support, marketing, product development & strategy.

Our main customer in England is the NHS. We work closely with NHS speech & language therapists (SLTs) who specialise in AAC & assess clients in need of communication solutions & recommend suitable products. These SLTs are based in NHS Assistive Technology Hubs representing our key accounts. We make regular visits to these key accounts to keep them up to date with our product offering.

The successful candidate will work from home, be a natural communicator, self- motivated & computer literate. Experience in selling, supporting & implementing communication systems whilst welcome is not essential as training will be given to the successful applicant. The role requires you to attend & take part in trade exhibitions from time to time, give sales/training presentations to customers, speech therapists & teachers. Nights away from home may be required.

We will welcome applicants who have a sales, health or education background. Education to degree level whilst welcome is not essential; your experience will inform our decision. Salary is negotiable dependent on experience. A suitable car, laptop & mobile phone will be provided.
