Cosyfeet is offering an annual Community Project Award of £750 to support a registered charity or not-for-profit organisation working on a community project within Britain that enriches older people’s lives.

Established in 1983, Cosyfeet strive to make attractive and roomy footwear for swollen feet as well as offer socks, hosiery and footcare solutions.

Andrew Peirce, Managing Director of Cosyfeet, commented: “Our award is available to community projects that benefit older people and provide them with a sense of community.

“We support projects that offer practical and emotional support, keep older people active or give them the chance to socialise.”

The company says the award aims to help over 65s, a group often affected by loneliness and isolation.

Last year, the award was presented to Swanage Disabled Club, which used the money to rent a sea front beach hut for its members to coincide with the Swanage Carnival and Regatta.
