Apex Medical rebrands to Wellell image

Medical devices supplier Apex Medical has announced it is rebranding to Wellell in 2022 to establish a global foothold and reimagine the future of wellbeing.

“Wellell” is a neologism created by combining “wellbeing” and “wellspring”.  A new website to showcase the company rebranding will be launched in the near future.

“For us, Wellell means the source of healthiness—supporting a patient’s healthy and comfortable condition through products and services that give full consideration to users’ experiences,” said Daniel Lee, Founder and Chairman of the company.

Daniel emphasised that the company vision will be reimagined with enthusiasm and empathy towards the community, rooted in an honest, open-minded attitude. During the COVID-19 pandemic, the company has been helping communities by providing life-saving products and services.

Wellell says the rebranding project will strengthen its brand-orientated strategy, reposition products and services, and reflect its value proposition by focusing on user experiences.

Greg Whelan, Director of Product and Marketing at Wellell UK, exclusively told AT Today: “The launch of the new brand is really exciting for us all and the Wellell UK team are enthusiastic to embrace the philosophy of the new brand and demonstrate to the UK healthcare market how both our brand journey and product innovation will benefit all of those whom it touches; from the mobility retailer, care home, local health authority or hospital trust, to those very individuals who are in need of our products and services.

“We all feel that 2022 will be an amazing year as we embark upon our journey with a new brand, new products and a shared determination to be the best that we can be in the healthcare sector.

“As our new brand slogan suggests “be well, live well”, we look forward to demonstrating our commitment to all of our customers and suppliers in the UK this year and into the future.”

Wellell is a global medical solutions provider for acute care and post-acute care, operating in more than 60 countries via a dedicated distribution and service network. Founded in 1990, the company integrates wound management solutions, respiratory therapy, and digital healthcare services to deliver improved clinical outcomes and digital well-being for patients, caregivers, and healthcare providers.
