Free webinar series launches for HCPs with a focus on rehabilitation in acute care

Medstrom Healthcare, which manufactures specialist hospital beds, is launching a series of webinars that aim to give healthcare professionals a chance to have thought-provoking discussions and the exchange of evidence-based research and practical experiences.

Entitled ‘360 review of rehabilitation and mobilisation; Patient, Physiologist, Nurse’, the first free-to-attend webinar will take place on 10th of February 2021 from 2pm-3pm.

Medstrom Healthcare has invited respected professionals and a survivor to present three essential aspects of rehabilitation and mobilisation in acute care in this webinar.

The first professional, Dr Colin Robertson, a Clinical Exercise Physiologist, has worked in all aspects of acute care and rehabilitation. Clinical staff from the Stroke Rehabilitation Centre, University Hospital Llandough, Cardiff and Vale Health Board will also share their expertise in the educational session.

Finally, Anthony Bennett, a patient given a 10 percent chance of survival, will share his powerful story that illustrates how individuals working as a team combined to save his life.
