Guardian III care watch image

Swansea-based CPR Global Technology has launched an enhanced GPS watch, which the company says has secured advanced orders with a number of local authorities that have commented on the system’s broad appeal and range of uses.

The Guardian III gives wearers, carers and loved ones greater peace of mind by adding a falls detection function to its comprehensive range of features.

Helpful features include real-time GPS location, route monitoring and playback; geo-zone protection; two-way phone calling; an SOS function; heart rate, skin and ambient temperature monitoring; pedometer; and voice messaging.

The functions may all be monitored through the CPR app, downloadable onto the smart phone of carers and loved ones, giving real-time access to the wearer’s metrics.

According to CPR Global Technology, its latest watch is already proving a “game-changer” for people with dementia, disabilities, epilepsy and other conditions.

Additionally, the Guardian III incorporates a clear in-built speaker, waterproofing to IP67, free software updates and a choice of coloured hypo-allergenic, soft-feel straps.

Andrew Sandbrook, CEO of CPR Global Technology, said: “We feel we’re already extremely well placed for further growth and with the added falls alert function, we are confident the Guardian III will give added independence and peace of mind to vulnerable people in and around their own homes allowing them to remain safer at home for longer.”

Established in the UK in 2010, CPR Global Tech specialises in developing and manufacturing devices that provide independence and peace of mind for vulnerable people in our society.
