Part of the Gainsborough Healthcare Group, Gainsborough Specialist Bathing has been re-appointed by Four Seasons Health Care to provide assistive baths.

Gainsborough’s Gentona bath was selected by Four Seasons Health Care as it was considered the best choice for safeguarded and sustainable care.

Peter Eckhardt, Gainsborough Healthcare Group CEO, commented: “Retaining the Four Seasons contract represents a significant signal to market. It clearly underlines our ability to deliver holistic bathing solutions that drive change. We understand the growing pressure of CQC targets and care sustainability – this is why we continually innovate to meet and exceed challenges.

“Our healthcare promise is unmatched in the sector and we are delighted that Four Seasons have endorsed our proven heritage and specialism.”

Established in 1988 and manufactured in Great Britain, Gainsborough Specialist Bathing provides assisted baths for long-term and acute care.

Luke Torkington, Procurement Buyer, Four Seasons Health Care said: “The Gentona bath particularly appealed to us as its advanced design features lower utility and energy consumption. It also reduces bathing cycle times so care and operational efficiency is optimised.

“We were impressed to learn that the Gentona can potentially save up to 25% on all running costs when compared to equivalent baths. Due to the bath being designed with the bather and carer in mind, it allows our clinical teams to continually enhance care quality and maintain best practice.”

Four Seasons Health Care provides a variety of care services such as dementia care, nursing care and residential care and strives to improve the lives of the residents and communities it serves as well as being the best place to work in the care sector.

Luke added: “Gainsborough Healthcare Group have proven that they have the ability to not only present excellent value for our business through an attractive commercial offering, but also through the great quality of the products and services they provide.

“I am very pleased that Four Seasons Health Care and Gainsborough Healthcare Group will continue to work together to improve the quality of life for the residents within our care for many more years to come.”
