Chubb Community Care, part of Chubb Fire & Security Ltd, is launching new versions of its resident-to-nurse call solution package, Chubb Care Call, to accommodate various requirements and budgets of smaller scale care homes. The new products will be introduced at the Care and Dementia Show, held at the NEC Birmingham from the 11th – 12th October.

Chubb Care Call allows residents to call nurses or carers in care homes with an enhanced, user-friendly design. A slim, modern room unit is installed by the resident’s bed with user-friendly colour-coded buttons to call for assistance. The nurse or carer will receive the call directly to their smart device and can instantly access the resident’s treatment data to assist with their subsequent response.

All the new scalable packages provide the same industry-leading functionality; the principal difference in each new version is the number of room units and nurse smart devices provided. The packages cater to the needs of five bed to 17-bed care homes.

“Offering easy-to-use, smart, and cost-effective technology, Chubb Care Call provides a unique value proposition to residents and caregivers looking for fast and accurate responses,” said David Hammond, General Manager, Chubb Community Care.

“Chubb Care Call provides the care home with the tools to deliver and govern how care is provided, supporting Care Quality Commission visits and management of staff ensuring a high standard of resident care. It is designed to suit any budget and give smaller care homes access to the functionality that the larger systems have to offer. Our goal is to enable all care homes to access our systems, regardless of their size,” concluded Hammond.

Chubb Community Care first showcased Chubb Care Call at the June 2015 Health & Care Show.
