Innova

Healthcare equipment supplier Innova Care Concepts has announced that it is expanding to work in areas of case management and litigation from this month onwards.

Litigation and case management includes working with people who have had severe life-changing injuries that may have been caused by a variety of reasons. Innova will assist with home adaptations that may include level access facilities equipped with specialist equipment, such as patient lifting hoists.

Based in Wetherby, Innova has established its position as a leading supplier to almost all healthcare environments during its 10 years in business. The company’s knowledge and experience of creating accessible environments will prove incredibly valuable when working in the homes of private individuals and families.

Having previously been handled by their sister company Yorkshire Care Equipment, the move means that all case management and litigation projects will be designed and delivered exclusively by Innova. This also means that Litigation Project Specialist Ramsey Hulbert has left Yorkshire Care Equipment to join the Innova team.

Ramsey said:

“I’m delighted to be involved in our new litigations division at Innova. We want to come up with new ways to help injured people remain as independent as possible at home. All case management work is incredibly rewarding, because you know that your work is really making a difference to someone’s life.

“Having previously worked with case managers and private occupational therapists, I know that Innova will provide a new forward-thinking way to tackle traditional problems regarding accessibility in people’s homes. Our innovative product range will be key in taking case management one step further, providing subtle accessible solutions that won’t make our client’s house look clinical.”

Although all work will now be carried out by Innova using its patented products, it will still have full access to Yorkshire Care Equipment’s extensive product range including electric wheelchairs, specialist seating, and bathing equipment.

Innova will be offering a complete case management package at a discounted price which will cover all CAD design work, project management, installations, and further servicing, ensuring that all work is carried out to a consistently high quality and delivered on time.

The company are also looking to host a free case management training day this year to discuss new and interesting ways litigation projects can be planned and specified.
