Invacare

“Moving and Handling People’ is an essential event for those involved in safely managing transfers’’

Invacare announces its recent sponsorship agreement with the Disabled Living Foundation for ‘Moving and Handling People 2016′ at the Amnesty International, Human Rights Action Centre in London.

Having been involved in the manufacture of Safe Patient Handling products for over 30 years, Invacare’s Birdie and Robin Hoists are widely used in community and residential care and are popular choices amongst OTs and Moving and Handling professionals.

Lisa Cook – Product Manager, Safe Patient Handling – explains why supporting this event is an important alliance for the company: ‘’Invacare has a long standing commitment to education and training. As a supporter of Moving and Handling practitioners, we feel, ‘Moving and Handling People’ is an essential event for those involved in safely managing transfers’’.

At the fully CPD certified event, delegates will have the opportunity to work with Invacare products. Workshops will facilitate interactive learning with the Safe Patient Handling range, including the Robin Overhead hoist which may be suitable for ‘Single Carer Working’ practices.

The conference and exhibition takes place from 2nd – 3rd February 2016 at the Amnesty International, Human Rights Action Centre in London.
