Etac R82 OT Show 2018 imageEtac R82 will be debuting a range of pioneering mobility equipment solutions and educational programmes for occupational therapists and healthcare professionals at the OT Show in November.

The new products on display at the OT Show will include both adult and paediatric solutions to meet a range of needs.

Adult product launches include the Molift Raiser Pro transfer platform (which can be seen on the Adaptions Trail); the Molift Air 200, 350 and 500 ceiling hoists, including the new bariatric hoist; the Molift Quattro traverse gantry system; the Etac My-Loo toilet seat; and the Immedia E-Board Oval, which is a flexible transfer board with anti-friction technology for “seamless” horizontal transfers.

Paediatric product launches include the enhanced R82 x:panda Evolution dynamic seating solution for complex individual needs (which can be seen on the Paediatric Trail), and the R82 Flamingo Potty Frame Accessory.

Alongside its new products, Etac R82 will also be presenting information about its latest free professional training courses.

The first course, Seating Assessment Training (SATs), is for paediatric occupational therapists and physiotherapists who want to further their knowledge of seating principles and problem-solving solutions. It will be hosted by Joanne McConnell, OT, Clinical Manager and Mobility and Pressure Care Specialist at Etac R82; and Highly Specialist Paediatric OT Helena Poulton.

Its second course is its Overhead Hoisting Problem Solving Workshops, which will be available across the UK early in 2019 and focus on solving the challenges of hoist specification and procurement.

Professional attendees will learn methods to resolve practical problems so the most effective and efficient solution is installed in care homes, hospitals, special schools and rehabilitation facilities.

Etac R82 can be visited on stand C70 at the OT Show, which takes place from the 21st-22nd of November at the NEC in Birmingham.

For over 40 years, Etac has been a specialist in adult and paediatric mobility equipment and focuses on optimising inclusion and quality of life for the individual, their family and caregivers. Its wide portfolio includes wheelchairs, buggies, seating, walking, toileting, bathing, transfer, postural support and pressure care solutions.
