New electric adjustable bed range to meet the needs of older and younger users
A new range of electric adjustable beds aiming to offer what it describes as ‘a refreshing change from conventional mobility products’ have been launched by Opera Care, the manufacturer of the Opera care beds and mattresses.
Consisting of three models – the Mensa; the Columba; and the Auriga – all three beds have an adjustable base for orthopaedic support that enables elderly and disabled users to sit up and elevate their legs.
Primarily designed for domestic homes but also suitable for care units, hotels and retirement villages, each model comes available as a single bed or double bed and includes several configuration options, with choices of headboards, upholstery, mattresses and handset controls.
According to the company, the range offers designs that appeal to all tastes, with classic, traditional options older buyers and contemporary designs for younger buyers.
The electric adjustable beds also provide a number of health benefits says Opera Care, with the five-section electric base allowing users to set optimal positions for sleeping & relaxation.
Additionally, the orthopaedic support that the adjustable base and mattress provides helps to alleviate back pain and muscle tension, significantly improving the sleep of persons with conditions such as arthritis, sciatica, multiple sclerosis etc
With a UK-wide logistics and support network of 40+ service engineers and five distribution locations, Opera Care says it is able to deliver the new beds to UK buyers quickly, delivering next day or visiting to install the bed within two to five days for stocked configurations.
For made-to-order configurations, the lead time is two to three weeks.
