Closomat, a supplier of toileting technology for disabled and elderly people, has released its newest toilet Asana, which aims to allow to users to go to the toilet comfortably and with dignity.

Asana is a wall-hung WC; it can act as a conventional toilet but also features push buttons on the side, which trigger the flush and eliminate the need to wipe clean by triggering the integrated douching and drying processes.

Contemporary in design, Asana comes with a range of flush and spray options that enable users to tailor its looks and function to their personal needs.

Brian Hoare, Closomat’s Managing Director, said: “In yoga, Asana is a pose, usually seated, of comfort and relaxation. The name is therefore apt for our latest evolution.

“Closomat’s ethos is about enabling toileting to be executed in comfort, and with dignity.”

Controlled via wireless remote, Asana also offers odour extraction, shower spray boost, massaging and hot – cold – hot shower spray options.

Brian continued: “We ‘go’ on average eight times a day, so toileting has more of an impact on daily life than most people realise or appreciate.”

Founded almost 60 years ago, Closomat manufactures wash & dry (automatic bidet) toilets that are developed specifically for users with limitations.
