Karma Mobility has upgraded the seats to its S-Ergo 115 and S-Ergo 125 manual wheelchairs, featuring a maximum seat depth of 19 inches to make the chairs ideal for users that are taller.

Both models are available as a transit or self-propel model and are made from lightweight aircraft grade aluminium weighing just 8kg (18lbs) and 9kg (20lbs) respectively when broken down.

Once the wheels and footplates have been removed, the chairs are the company’s lightest crash tested wheelchairs according to Karma.

The 115 and 125 incorporate the patented S-Ergo seat system, promoting pressure relief by spreading the user’s weight over a wider area which also increases stabilisation and reduces sliding.

Increased levels of strength and durability are also provided by the frame which consists of oval tubed double cross braces.

Additional standard features on the S-Ergo 115 Tall and S-Ergo 125 Tall include slowing brakes, quick release wheels, swing away footrests and detachable upholstery for ease of cleaning.

Supplying the NHS and numerous mobility retailers throughout the UK with its high-quality wheelchairs, Karma Mobility says it ensures that the outstanding design of every product is extensively tested and evaluated before being placed on the market
