Moose on gate
Cosyfeet is breaking new ground by making walking boots and walking shoes suitable for people with swollen feet.

The company has launched two new styles for women and two for men. This 100% waterproof, windproof, breathable footwear comes in an extra wide fitting as standard (EEEEE+ for women and HH+ for men) and has a secure lace fastening which adjusts to fit a range of swelling.

Cosyfeet’s walking shoes (the Minnie for women and the Stanley for men) are roomier than they look due to a sole unit which incorporates ‘hidden depth’. The walking boots (the Moose for women and Livingstone for men) also benefit from this streamlined construction, but have a deep collar around the ankle for added stability. All four styles of walking boot and walking shoe feature a seam-free toe area to prevent chafing.

The boots and shoes are made with water-repellent leather combined with a waterproof, breathable CosyTex membrane to ensure feet stay fresh, warm and dry. They have a lightweight, shock-absorbing sole designed for excellent grip. A padded collar around the ankle is made to fit swollen or slimmer ankles, and a removable comfort footbed offers extra depth if needed.

“Our aim is to enable people with swollen feet to keep on enjoying walks in the great outdoors in safe, well-fitting, comfortable footwear that’s designed to meet their needs,” says Managing Director Andrew Peirce.

These Cosyfeet styles have been shown to meet the criteria set out by the Healthy Footwear Guide. The Healthy Footwear Guide is a collaboration between UK footwear brands and foot health professionals. It aims to highlight the importance of wearing healthy, comfortable footwear.
