Disabled Living, organisers of the popular Kidz to Adultz events, have launched a new online event, which is designed to give visitors free virtual access to the exhibitors, voluntary and support organisations that will be showcasing their equipment and services for disabled children.

The Kidz to Adultz events are focused on children and young adults with disabilities and additional needs, their parents, carers and the professionals who support them. The regional shows take place throughout the year, providing companies with the opportunity to showcase their latest paediatric ranges to children and parents, as well as enabling healthcare professionals to attend free CPD seminars.

In June 2020, Disabled Living announced that its Kidz to Adultz events in South England and Scotland had been postponed until 2021 due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Originally supposed to take place in September 2020, Disabled Living said it decided to postpone the shows in order to protect the vulnerable children and young adults visiting the exhibitions, as well as their families, carers, exhibitors and Disabled Living staff, from COVID-19.

With the number of new COVID-19 cases “rising rapidly” and the UK COVID-19 alert level subsequently moving to level 4, Disabled Living has now launched ‘Venue to Virtual’ in place of a physical exhibition.

Venue to Virtual is a new online platform offering visitors free virtual access to exhibitors, companies, voluntary and support organisations who will be showcasing their products, equipment and outlining details of their services.

Taking place from 9 – 13 November 2020, the virtual exhibition will see organisations showcase their range of equipment and services at various times throughout the week.

The online facility will showcase a number of live videos at various timeslots. Delegates will also be able to download their PDFs and brochures, with the additional bonus of an online chat facility where they can ask the experts questions and their advice on a wider range of products, issues and concerns.
