Long-standing, family-owned lift specialist Stannah has secured a Local Authority service and repair contract in North East England, adding approximately 330 lifts to its substantial maintenance portfolio.

Awarded by Northumberland County Council, the service contract was won by the Stannah’s North and North East service branch and will now see the Gateshead-based company maintaining and repairing stairlifts and homelifts from a range of manufacturers.

Stuart Graham, Stannah Branch Manager for the North & North East England, said: “Stannah service and maintain a variety of lifts in the home, not just our own products, this coupled with our traditional service values and local network of engineers means we can provide the service our customers are looking for.

“We’re delighted to win this Local Authority maintenance contract and welcome it to our UK portfolio of over 90,000 commercial and domestic lift products”.

The North and North East service branch covers the entire region, including Leeds, Bradford, Huddersfield, Wakefield, York, Middlesbrough and Newcastle, offering maintenance and repair services 365 days of the year.
