Mobility retailer Recare has expanded its ongoing relationship with Ottobock to provide a new custom contoured seating service at its Oxfordshire headquarters, helping meet the needs of more clients who are elderly or disabled.

The two companies are now collaborating on a new specialist custom contoured seating clinic, which is expected to open at the end of the summer at Recare’s main showroom in Long Hanborough, West Oxfordshire.

The Southern Private Seating Clinic will enable Recare to offer an extra level of service to its clients and achieve a bigger impact in the rehabilitation sector, while Ottobock will be able to increase its provision of seating systems and product range through case managers, solicitors, occupational therapists and private clients.

Richard Holland-Oakes, CEO and Managing Director of Recare, said: “We are thrilled to be developing and nurturing our partnership with Ottobock in this way. The clinic provides a wonderful opportunity for us to offer current and future clients with a complete service for all their needs.”

David Barton, Commercial Manager at Ottobock’s special seating production unit, added: “Ottobock has been providing high quality custom contoured seating for more than 25 years and we are delighted to be working with Recare on this exciting new clinic. As a high-quality service provider, they are ideal partners for this venture.”
