Motion Spot

Motionspot, an accessible design specialist, has launched an innovative new website aimed at both business and residential customers, showcasing how lives can be transformed through beautiful accessible design.

The company specialises in the design and supply of accessible bathrooms to healthcare providers, retirement developments, hotels and care homes, with the new website highlighting what is possible when designing accessible spaces.

A key and unique feature of the new website is a new ‘Inspiration’ page. With a focus on lifestyle, the page has been created to stimulate the process of planning an accessible design project through a gallery of images which can be filtered by product type or finished bathroom.

Aimed at architects and specifiers, the Motionspot ‘Accessible Products’ and ‘Sector’s pages show alternative options to the standard Doc M Pack and give information on the considerations when designing bathrooms to support users with differing needs.

Ed Warner, Managing Director and Founder said: “Our aim is to transform spaces and lives through beautifully designed, accessible bathrooms that deliver independence for anyone with a disability or in need of extra support. We listened to what our customers were telling us and are proud to launch the new website in which the central concept is to make designing for accessibility an enjoyable experience from the start.”

Launching in 2012, the company was founded after Ed’s friend and co-founder James Taylor, broke his neck diving into the sea in Portugal in 2005. After the two struggled to find adapted products that fitted with James’ lifestyle or useful advice, the two set out to ensure other people did not have to go through the same frustrations.

Now the company aims to transform spaces and lives through beautifully designed, accessible spaces that deliver independence for anyone with a disability or in need of extra support.
