Building on last year’s success, The OT Show has announced the return of its popular Occupational Therapy Awards 2019, celebrating the hard work of occupational therapists in their day-to-day lives.

The awards are open to all occupational therapy professionals, regardless of career level.

Previous winners of the Occupational Therapy Awards include: Pam Wooding, Recovery Practice Lead at Kent and Medway Partnership Trust; Kerrie Phipps, Service Lead for Specialist Acute and Community Service in Hywel Dda University health Board; and Tracy Holt, OTTI at the Trevor Gibbens Unit in the Kent and Medway NHS and Social Care Partnership Trust.

The 2019 award categories are:

  • Outstanding OTTI/OTA/Service User Contribution Award
  • Outstanding Occupational Therapist Award
  • Outstanding Occupational Therapy Leadership and Innovation Award

The Occupational Therapy Awards 2019 will take place on the first day at the OT Show, which is being held on the 27th and 28th November at the Birmingham NEC.

With over 100 interactive lectures, over 80 hours of CPD accredited education and over 270 exhibitors displaying new products, the OT Show is a free event that helps occupational therapists develop their skills and see the latest innovative technology to help their clients.
