Paediatric folding tilt-in-space wheelchair offers convenience for parents and caregivers
Ki Mobility, a manufacturer of mobility products, has revealed the Little Wave Arc folding tilt-in-space wheelchair, offering convenience, style and versatility for young people with reduced mobility, their parents, and caregivers.
The Little Wave Arc is the lightest paediatric folding tilt-in-space wheelchair on the market, according to Ki Mobility, with a transport weight of just 9.3kg. Although lightweight, the manufacturer says the wheelchair is packed full of easy-to-use features for parents and caregivers.
Additionally, the patent-pending Arc tilt system provides effortless repositioning and a shorter, more manoeuvrable, wheelbase. The Arc name represents the path of the rear roller guides that minimise the movement of the centre of gravity in a design that maximises the mechanical advantage at both ends of the tilting stroke.
Easy to fold into a small package, thanks to its compact wheelbase, the Little Wave Arc easily fits into the boot of a car, making it ideal for family days out.
The Little Wave Arc also has the future in mind with its robust frame design, which has been manufactured from high-strength lightweight materials for durability. The chair can also accommodate plenty of growth, Ki Mobility adds.
Children can choose from a range of options and colourways to personalise their wheelchair.
The Little Wave Arc joins the Little Wave Flip, Little Wave Clik and Little Wave XP to provide a comprehensive portfolio of Ki Mobility paediatric solutions, which all provide comfort and support for the child.
