On stand B42 at the OT Show, Precision Rehab is exhibiting its range of powerchairs to engage with occupational therapists and their clients.

Precision will be displaying its UPnRIDE, Paravan PR50, Paravan PR30 Evo II and Paravan Piccolino powered wheelchairs, alongside Sunrise’s Q700 UP M powerchair, at the event.

The Paravan PR50 can be used in domestic, working or care environments and is equipped to take respiration apparatus, including special headrests and extra power supply. Its adapted special control unit also means that disabled users can operate the powerchair safely.

The chair has the ability to turn itself on and can fit through most doorways and lifts. Precision added that users can drive the PR50 into their WAVs and that it can be used as a car seat due to its integrated seatbelt.

A configurable, joy-stick controlled powerchair, the Paravan PR30 Evo II can be fitted with a range of additional options to meet users’ requirements. Options include a tilt function, seat lift up to a maximum height of 80cm and footrests with additional electric features.

The Paravan contoured seat system on the PR30 Evo II offers clients nine different configurations which consists of back pads and seat pads, all of which are individually selectable to provide comfort and support.

Additional features include: a seat baseplate and cushion, manually folding backrest, integrated backplate with threaded inserts, adjustable headrest and multi-adjustable arm rests.

Designed for young users from the age of 2 upwards, the Piccolino is a versatile powerchair due to its range of seat widths, depths and heights as well as adjustable side supports and head support.

Precision says that this the “ideal” paediatric powered wheelchair which can grow with the client to help make it as fun as possible; it comes in a variety of vibrant colours.

Matthew James, Co-Director of Precision Rehab, commented: “We are delighted to once again be exhibiting at the OT Show.

“The two-day event is a fantastic platform for us to showcase and demonstrate our range of powered wheelchairs to OT’s from around the UK and discuss their client’s requirements and book assessments in a relaxed and friendly environment.”

Described as a life-changing innovation in standing technology by Precision, the UPnRIDE powerchair will also be showcased at the show. The UPnRIDE offers users auto-balancing and an unchanged centre of gravity to ensure continuous stability, even when travelling up or down slopes.

A greater sense of stability and safety is also offered due to its joint braces and harness straps.

Allowing users to lie flat or stand, the Q700 UP M standing powerchair will also be exhibited by Precision. The powerchair enables users to stand at up to 85˚ so they can interact with friends and family face to face.

Its narrow base and tight turning circle make the powered wheelchair highly manoeuvrable in confined spaces and it easily fits under tables and into wheelchair accessible vehicles (WAV) due to its low seat height of 445mm.
