“With the pressures of busy, modern life, friends, family or neighbours may not take the time to look out for those who are more vulnerable than themselves.”

With many undertaking some form of New Years’ resolution – be it losing weight, finishing that novel or quitting smoking – NRS Healthcare are encouraging people to #BeSelfless by carrying out small acts of kindness throughout 2016 with their latest social campaign.

Working in collaboration with digital agency Bronco, the #BeSelfless campaign highlights a number of ideas for small acts of kindness that have been made into illustrations and shared across a range of social channels; including Facebook, Twitter and Pinterest.

“NRS Healthcare work with a host of Local Authorities and numerous direct customers across the UK to help those who are older, disabled or recovering after an operation live an independent life,” explains Commercial Director Steve Kennedy.

“We care about the wellbeing of our customers, to the extent that we employ a large team of Occupational Therapists who are available to consult with before buying a product – ensuring it is suitable for the customer’s needs.

“Having been in the healthcare industry for nearly 70 years, we have a lot of experience knowing how difficult it can be for people to ask for help and, with the pressures of busy, modern life, friends, family or neighbours may not take the time to look out for those who are more vulnerable than themselves.”

The campaign will run throughout January, with the intention being to collate the images into one, handy infographic which can be shared at the end of the month and hopefully inspire others to continue their #BeSelfless actions throughout the year.
