Wheelchair addition for TGA

TGA has added the Swiss-designed ‘StrongBack’ wheelchair to its range. The attendant-controlled foldable wheelchair incorporates a fully adjustable backrest that moulds around the occupant to provide greater comfort and relief from back pain. This is enhanced by integrated postural support inbuilt into the wheelchair frame. StrongBack is compatible with the TGA range of four Wheelchair Powerpacks. The company says that a self-propelling version of the chair will be available later in the year.
