Alongside its specialist Gentona and Coriel baths, Gainsborough Specialist Bathing will be showcasing its complete assisted bathroom services at Healthcare Estates 2018.

Taking place on the 9th and 10th of October, Healthcare Estates is a show for healthcare professionals to network and look at a variety of healthcare products and services.

It is aimed at people in the healthcare industry who either have the final say on which products and services that come into their facility (such as NHS estates and facilities professionals, engineers and contractors) or people who will supply, install, use and maintain products and services (such as project managers, care homes and consultants).

At the show, Gainsborough will be showcasing its flagship hi-lo Gentona bath and bariatric Coriel bath. A safe solution, the Gentona bath is designed for semi-ambulant bathers through powered variable height and a bather transfer seat. Helping to meet CQC hygiene targets, it includes specialist bathing infection control technology BioCote.

According to the company, its accessible bath provides 99.9 percent protection against an array of microbes including Influenza H1N1, E.coli, Salmonella and antibiotic resistant CPE, CRO, CRE, VRE and MRSA.

Alongside the Gentona, the Coriel bath will also be on display, which is ideal for bathers weighing up to 273kg who require recumbent bathing. Its hi-lo functionality allows carers to consistently operate at safe working heights, which is essential in bariatric care.

Luke Torkington from Four Seasons Health Care commented: “BioCote is vital for our care homes’ infection control process. No other premium supplier can deliver such a robust infection control solution.”

Gainsborough will also be telling healthcare providers how they can benefit from its products and services, such as: minimised moving and handling risks, high-quality care and more efficient bathing cycle times.

The company can be visited at Healthcare Estates on stand E57 at the Manchester Central exhibition and conference centre.

Part of the Gainsborough Healthcare Group, Gainsborough Specialist bathing provides assisted baths for long-term and acute care. Its wide-ranging portfolio has been developed in cooperation with semi-ambulant bathers, healthcare providers and moving and handling professionals.
