“We have special needs schools and children’s hospices visit the site and they are delighted with the equipment we have invested in. It makes their visits not only comfortable but possible!”

Woodlarks Campsite in Farnham, a campsite providing accessible camping holidays for people living with disabilities and their families, have chosen Kingkraft to equip a new swimming block.

The campsite decided to upgrade their facilities in 2014 by building a new changing block for their swimming pool and chose Kingkraft and their long-term supplier Pressalit to furnish the room. Kingkraft installed a Mobile Shower Changer, making low-level transfer easy and reducing the chance of parents and carers straining their backs due to adjustable height. It also offers an option for twin opening sides to provide a wider changing area and more access.

Kingkraft_showerNick Richards, a volunteer at Woodlarks, said: “We chose both Kingkraft and Pressalit for the quality of the equipment. It is robust, reliable and very good value for money. It is always of the highest standards and having purchased my first item from both companies 14 years ago, I am still very happy to be working with them.

“We have special needs schools and children’s hospices visit the site and they are delighted with the equipment we have invested in. It makes their visits not only comfortable but possible!”

Kingkraft also donated an ex-display Pressalit Shower Seat that was gratefully received.

Dale Spademan, Sales and Marketing Manager for Kingkraft, said: “Woodlarks is opening up the fun experiences of camping and the outdoors to users that wouldn’t easily by able to try this. We at Kingkraft thought this was great and it’s why we offered to donate the Shower Seat. We had to help the funds they had raised go further to achieving this brilliant facility.

“Most of our Mobile Shower Changers go into schools, homes or care facilities, and although they undoubtedly make a difference, it was great to be able to recommend them for a camp site which will be creating wonderful experiences and memories for so many disabled young people.”
