Organisers of the Posture and Mobility Group (PMG) Conference have confirmed new dates for its next show, which will now take place from Monday 12th to Wednesday 14th of July 2021.

These new conference dates follow a recent announcement from the PMG Conference organisers that they would be postponing the 2020 show due to the “uncertainties of the times” surrounding the coronavirus pandemic.

Established in 1992, PMG was set up as a conference to advance and disseminate knowledge about the posture and wheeled mobility needs of people with disabilities.

Taking place annually, the PMG Conference provides education, an industry exhibition, and networking events for professionals working in the field of posture and wheeled mobility. Main attendees at the conferences include occupational therapists, physiotherapists, rehabilitation engineers and clinical scientists working with the NHS Wheelchair Services.

The 2020 PMG Conference was initially supposed to take place in November, however, in the interest of the safety of exhibitors, staff and visitors, the show will now place from the 12th-14th of July 2021 at The International Centre in Telford.

In addition to rescheduling the conference, PMG has also extended its Early Bird deadline to 1st of October 2020, after which registrations to the show will temporarily close until the early spring of 2021.

In an email about the new conference dates, PMG added: “The 2021 Early Bird prices will have to be increased when bookings re-open, to help cover the higher costs PMG will be paying by postponing the event into the new financial year.”

For anyone in the sector with queries, PMG suggests individuals email olwen.ellis@pmguk.co.uk in the first instance.
