Naidex has been rescheduled to the 15th and 16th of September 2021 after the UK Government advised that the show would be unable to go ahead in the spring.

The announcement marks the third postponement for the popular independent living event, which sees users and healthcare professionals visit Birmingham’s NEC annually.

The event was supposed to take place on the 9th and 10th of March 2021. However, Naidex says after consultation with various government departments, it has been advised that it will be unable to host the show in spring. Event organisers Roar B2B Media say that they are confident the new show dates will enable them to run the event safely and successfully.

In March 2020, Naidex was postponed due to the coronavirus outbreak, with the event rescheduled to 9th and 10th November 2020 just two weeks before it was due to place. Then, in November 2020, Naidex was pushed back again to 9th and 10th March 2021 as COVID-19 concerns continued to disrupt show plans.

Now, Roar B2B Media has pushed back the event once more, with the show postponed to the 15th and 16th of September 2021.

In a decision about the decision to reschedule Naidex, Roar B2B Media said: “We have been in consultation with various Government departments and whilst the rollout of the vaccine has given the country much needed optimism, we have been advised that we will be unable to host the event in the Spring.

“The safety of our visitors, customers, partners and staff is paramount. We are confident that moving the event to September will enable us to run the safe, successful event the industry demands.

“To support our exhibitors, partners and the wider industry we are delighted to announce an additional digital version of Naidex taking place on the 18th & 19th March. This will provide a digital meeting place, world class speaking sessions and access to the latest products and services.”
