Trusted Recruiter is delighted to be supporting a well-established manufacturer of mobility accessories, supplying nationwide and with ambitious plans for international expansion. With strategic acquisitions in progress and a clear growth strategy, the business is seeking a dynamic and commercially astute Managing Director to lead them through their next exciting phase.

The Role

As Managing Director, you will hold full P&L responsibility, driving operational excellence while executing the company’s long-term growth plans. You will inspire and lead a growing team, work closely with the board, and deliver on strategic objectives, including market expansion, revenue diversification, and preparing the business for potential acquisition or exit.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a clear business growth strategy aligned with the 5-year plan
  • Oversee all core business functions, including sales, operations, finance, manufacturing, and marketing
  • Lead and mentor the senior management team to achieve ambitious growth targets
  • Strengthen market position within the mobility sector (B2B, B2C, and international)
  • Enhance operational efficiency, scalability, and use of modern technology
  • Maintain high standards of quality and customer service across operations
  • Represent the business at key industry events, partnerships, and negotiations
  • Drive EBITDA growth and prepare the company for acquisition or exit opportunities

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven experience as a Managing Director, COO, or GM within manufacturing, mobility, or B2B products
  • Strong commercial acumen and leadership skills, with experience scaling SMEs
  • Knowledge of acquisitions, fundraising, or M&A is advantageous
  • Ability to work strategically while remaining hands-on where required
  • Track record of driving business growth and leading teams through change
  • Passion for delivering products that enhance independence and improve lives
