Rehasense UK has launched a compact and travel-friendly Eco Travel power add-on which is designed to offer wheelchair users increased mobility and independence on the go.

According to the mobility solutions firm, the wheelchair power add-on is easy to transport, which makes travelling by air straightforward, especially as the battery is air-safe and offers a range of up to 28 miles.

The modular mounting system of the Eco Travel ensures there are no pre-mounted brackets required, so attaching it to a wheelchair is easy. The power add-on weighs 7.9kg when being transported and is compatible with most wheelchair brands, according to Rehasense UK.

In addition, the Eco Travel features various adjustable settings and a handlebar with an integrated folding system.

Available in a choice of five colours, the Eco Travel features a wide range of programmable options so the user can set it to meet their own needs. A combination of foldable push handles, telescopic handle height, and handle stem ensure “the optimum comport level” for users, according to Rehansense UK.

Additional features include a dual braking system, motor brake (CLC) intelligent braking, cruise control, and walk function as standard to allow the user to set their speed to match that of friends or family who may be walking with them.
