Wetherby-based healthcare equipment company Innova Care Concepts has launched its own free conference for people working in case management and litigation. This entails working with individuals who have won legal settlements after suffering a life-changing injury.

The Litigation Project Conference will be held at Wetherby Racecourse on 22nd May 2018, and registration is free for all private Occupational Therapists, Case Managers, Solicitors, and other professionals in the sector who are involved with new-builds and refurbishments of properties for disabled clients.

Tristan Hulbert, the organiser of Innova’s Litigation Project Conference, said:

“The demand for work in case management has grown significantly, with solicitors and occupational therapists setting up practices solely for work in litigation.

“We’re holding the Litigation Project Conference to make sure that everyone who works in this industry is on the same page, and to make sure that we are putting forward the best solutions for our clients and their varying and complex needs.”

The conference will include many talks from leading experts in case management throughout the UK. With discussions to do with practical, ethical, and clinical aspects of litigation work, the conference will give delegates an extensive overview of the latest developments and practices.

Attendees will also have a chance to get their hands on the latest mobility and patient handling equipment, allowing them to test it out for themselves and get to grips with it. What’s more, Innova is also putting on a free hot lunch and refreshments for the delegates, and they will have the chance to network with other professionals in the industry.

Innova’s CEO, Tom Hulbert, said: “The Litigation Project Conference is a hub for all things to do with case management. Innova has been finding and supplying innovative healthcare equipment for a decade, and in doing so, we’ve become specialists in finding subtle solutions that clients will comfortable using in their own homes.”

Having recently taken over all litigation work from their sister company Yorkshire Care Equipment, Innova have been working alongside solicitors, private occupational therapists, and case managers since the beginning of 2018. The company specialises in providing accessible and aesthetic solutions to clients who have had life-changing injuries.
