Accessible bathroom retailer Easy Bathrooms has launched its own range of accessible baths and complementary accessories designed to accommodate for everybody, regardless of age or ability.

Easy Bathrooms has launched six new and accessible walk-in baths as part of its new Easy Living range, giving clients safe and easy access. The company says that each of its new designs can fit into a range of spaces, such as en-suites to large bathrooms.

The company’s Vestra bath is 945mm x 170mm and includes a screen and an electronically-operated glass door, which remains locked until all water has been drained, reducing the risk of leakage. According to the company, the Vestra’s low-threshold height gives users easier access.

Easy Bathroom’s Truo unit has similar features, but is also available in high gloss black, giving clients the option to match the bath with the rest of the room’s décor.

The smallest unit in the Easy Living range is the Munro at 650mm x 900mm. It incorporates an inward-opening door and a moulded seat, allowing users to sit down while they bathe.

Neil Bell, Head of Retail at Easy Bathrooms, commented: “Homes are becoming more and more multigenerational, meaning that they need to cater to family members of all ages and abilities.

“These baths are now an additional option, alongside wetrooms – they are designed specifically to help the end user to live a more comfortable life, while ensuring they maximise the use of space, even in the tiniest of rooms.”

In addition to the new walk-in baths, Easy Bathrooms also offers thermostatic showers, which reduce the risk of scalding, and textured floor tiles, which minimise the possibility of slipping.
