New business training for independent occupational therapists
“The collaboration will bring valuable business proficiency to occupational therapists who are looking to improve their business knowledge”
Independent occupational therapists will soon have the opportunity to benefit from a special business clinic designed for therapists who run their own practices.
The business clinic – provided by MG Retail Consulting, the leading source of business skills for healthcare professionals – is for established independent occupational therapists that are ready to take their practice to the next level.
Commissioned by COTSS-IP, the College of Occupational Therapists’ specialist section for independent practitioners, it will help practitioners plan monthly goals, identify how best to invest in their practices, and understand how to embrace new business strategies. MG Retail Consulting will also provide a new range of business resources for the Specialist Section’s 700 members to access on the COTSS-IP website which can be found HERE
COTSS-IP’s Chairwoman Lynda Niles says: “The collaboration will bring valuable business proficiency to occupational therapists who are looking to improve their business knowledge and grow their practices in the rapidly changing healthcare economy.”
MG Retail Consulting’s Managing Director Mike Glynn said: “I’m sincerely pleased that COTSS-IP is supporting independent occupational therapists to build their businesses. The business clinic will help provide clarity, creativity and simplicity to their business growth plans.”
The business clinic will take place at the annual COTSS-IP conference in Stratford-upon-Avon on 12th October 2015.
