After event organisers confirmed that this year’s Naidex would be postponed until March 2021 due to coronavirus, Naidex has launched a new virtual offshoot: Naidex Virtual.

Naidex Virtual will provide a series of free online informative sessions, based on the needs of the current needs of the independent living and healthcare community.

The digital initiative will feature a wide range of digital activities, webisodes, product showcases and more, hosted by industry experts, with the aim of providing free support, advice and valuable information on the most pressing challenges facing the industry.

Additionally, Naidex Virtual will offer CPD-accredited training for healthcare professionals, enable delegates to join a support network and interact with their peers, and allow visitors to voice their concerns to experts.

Naidex organiser Roar B2B Media says it has been working alongside its partners, collaborators and industry experts to ensure exhibitors and visitors receive the support they need.

On 2 December 2020 at 2:00pm, Naidex Virtual will host its first webisode: ‘’Room to Improve: Independence in the Home’’.

This webisode will highlight the challenges that COVID-19 has brought to the independent living and healthcare industries, and shed light on the need for accessibility in the home. It will build on the UK Government’s public consultation on raising home accessibility standards.

Exploring the need for accessibility in the home, the webisode will also take an in-depth look at home adaptations, accessibility standards, technology-enabled solutions, and additional support and resources.

In a statement about Naidex Virtual, Roar B2B Media said: “We will be continuing our support of the independent living and healthcare industries and look forward to welcoming you to both our digital initiatives and our next event.”
