Primacare, a bespoke seating company, will be showcasing its Adelphi riser recliner chair to healthcare professionals at the upcoming OT Show.

Since the launch of the Adelphi, Primacare says it has proved to be a very popular chair with the use of soft cushioning and conventional chair wings to give postural support. Soft lateral support cushions are also available as optional extras for extra postural support for clients.

The Adelphi has a very high leg position, if needed, and good tilt-in-space, which allows the user to recline in comfort without affecting their hip or knee angle. Additionally, the arms are removable for seat width adjustment or to make side transfers easier for both the user and carer.

According to Primacare, the cushioning of the Adelphi in both the re-positionable cushions of the waterfall back and the lateral support cushioning makes it very a comfortable option for clients. Furthermore, the Adelphi is available with manual or electric controls that operate the leg rest, tilt and back angle.

A new smaller version of the Adelphi will be available to see on Primacare’s stand (C14) at The OT Show, which takes place on the 27th-28th of November at the NEC in Birmingham.
