Theraposture has partnered with charity Newlife to provide healthcare professionals with free information about its Emergency Equipment Loan Service at Kidz to Adultz North.

The adjustable bed and chair specialist works with Newlife to loan adjustable cots and beds to children who are at serious risk of injury or in urgent need due to shortened life expectancy. Theraposture supports Newlife through the provision, delivery, installation and collection of appropriate equipment.

The loan service is free, unique and following an occupational therapist assessment, can usually provide a solution to disabled children within 72 hours.

Theraposture’s Liam Braddell said: “We have successfully supported Newlife for several years and assisted many families in desperate need.

“Newlife’s Emergency Equipment Loan Services provide a crucial solution in often sensitive and urgent situations – our specialist height adjustable cots and beds help care for disabled children and allow parents to assist at safe working heights.”

He added that Theraposture’s safety padding comes in a variety of fun and reassuring patterns.

Alongside providing free information about the Emergency Equipment Loan Service, Theraposture will also be offering information about its case studies and cot funding guides, and demonstrating two of its Mascot Mk2 cots, at the event.

A fully modular solution, the Mascot is adaptable to suit users’ changing needs, removing the need to buy a replacement cot in the future. It also features variable height, mattress profiling, anti-Trendelenburg/Trendelenburg positioning and 4-8 door access flexibility on both sides.

Theraposture can be visited on stand B10 at Kidz to Adultz North, which takes place on the 8th of November at EventCity in Manchester.

Kidz to Adultz North is an exhibition dedicated to children and young adults with disabilities and additional needs, their families, carers and the professionals who support them.
