MIP UK, a specialist in healthcare textile products for hospitals and long-term care facilities throughout the UK, has launched a new addition to its Bed Pad Range, the Sonoma Lite Washable Bed Pad.

The Sonoma Lite Washable Bed Pad is designed for a light to medium level of incontinence or for occasional use. MIP UK says its latest launch is an affordable continence care solution with great performance and longevity.

The Sonoma Lite is a laminated bed pad featuring a white Sonoma top surface that is designed to be a dependable option for continence care. The brushed backing ensures Sonoma Lite remains in place. However, for more restless sleepers, the Sonoma Lite also comes available with tucks. The tucks showcase MIP UK’s durable WhooTex fabrics, promoting longevity and efficiency in the wash and dry process.

The Sonoma Lite Bed Pads have a semi-laminated construction where the barrier and soaker layer are bonded together. This gives a thinner profile, while still delivering a good level of absorbency.

Laminated pads are more cost effective as they take less time to dry in a tumble dryer, according to MIP UK.

As the bed pad is washable, the Sonoma Lite is an environmentally friendly and cost-effective alternative to disposable bed pads.
