Reval’s Transcare luxury spa bath imageHelping residents get the most from life, Reval has become a WCS Care innovation partner in assisted bathing at the care group’s Innovation Hub at the Castle Brook care home in Kenilworth, Warwickshire.

WCS works with selected partners, which, when combined with their values-based approach to care, help WCS ensure that every day is well lived for residents.

The inspiring environment at the Innovation Hub uses a range of tools, services, and products to enhance the dignity, choice and independence of residents.

Reval’s Transcare luxury spa baths were chosen to make assisted bathing an experience of well-being and relaxation rather than just being part of a personal hygiene routine.

Jason Ashman, Managing Director at Reval, said: “We are delighted to have been selected as part of the WCS Innovation Hub as an example of best practise. Residents can now benefit from a more immersive experience, relax under warm, bubbling water. Combine this with the mood lighting, aromatherapy scents, and music, you can understand how wellbeing really is at the top of our agenda.”

As England’s first care home provider to have six homes recognised as outstanding by the Care Quality Commission (CQC), WCS developed the Innovation Hub to provide the opportunity to share their best practice approach with other providers, whilst demonstrating systems and services in action, in a real-life care setting.

Reval’s vision is to transform the lives of those people living with health and mobility challenges by promoting hygiene and rehabilitative solutions that focus on the safe and dignified needs of each individual and the overall impact on their sustainable well-being.
