Free webinar to give training to OTs and PTs with clients who are vulnerable to falls
Healthcare aids specialist Yorkshire Care Equipment is running a free 50-minute webinar for occupational therapists (OTs), physiotherapists (PTs) and other healthcare professionals focusing on the topic of falls and hip fractures.
The session, ‘Falls & Hip Fractures Webinar: Top Tips for Recovery & Prevention’, will give training and support to OTs and PTs who work with clients that have been affected by, or are vulnerable to, falls.
By attending the webinar, delegates will get an overview of the significance of falls in the UK to both individuals and the NHS. Healthcare professionals will also better understand the ramifications of falls and the severity and different types of hip fractures.
Additionally, OTs and PTs will explore preventative measures that can be taken to tackle falls around the home.
Yorkshire Care Equipment will also be introducing attendees to a brand-new, “revolutionary” and unique falls prevention device, with the webinar marking the official launch of the product in the UK. During the webinar, the company will provide a demonstration of the new falls prevention equipment.
At the end of the webinar, there will be a live Q&A session.
This educational session will run on Thursday 22nd April from 2pm-2.50pm. Yorkshire Care Equipment will share a full recording with all registered attendees.
