Jane Miller OT at RISE conference

RISE 4 Disability’s RISE Expo 2022 will be returning to the Kent Event Centre with leading equipment suppliers, contractors, services and advice for disability and independent living exhibiting on Wednesday 22 June.

RISE’s free annual event is committed to delivering the highest standard of relevant CPD for delegates, offering health professionals a full programme of educational conference presentations and workshops.

The annual conference brings therapists together to showcase their specialist areas of work and explore opportunities for integrating services with health, social care and housing to improve outcomes for clients and services.

Working closely with leading key partners in the field across six dedicated areas, RISE delivers up-to-date conference and workshop content.

The areas RISE covers are: Moving & Handling, OT Integration, Connected To Care, Housing & Adaptations, Kids Can, and Ability & Advice.

RISE’s established OT Integration Theatre will once again be chaired by Principal OT for Kent County Council Jane Miller.

With over 100 exhibitors to showcase some of the leading and latest innovations in disability equipment provision all under one roof, attendees will have the opportunity to see products and equipment in action through workshops, and pose follow-up questions to suppliers directly on stand. Relevant organisations and charities will also be on hand to share information about the services they can offer.

Attendees will have the chance to network and share experiences with OTs and other health professionals in the Meet and Greet Poster Zone.

The regionally focused show will also be available post-event online.
