Webinar to explore how TEC can make better connections between health, housing and social care
In association with telecare specialist Tunstall Healthcare, Housing LIN is holding a free webinar next week about the role of technology-enabled care (TEC) in joining up health, housing and social care.
It follows recent UK Government policy movement in digitalising the health and social care sectors to transform the way care is delivered in hospital, community and home settings.
Housing LIN’s latest webinar – ‘HAPPI Hour – Technology enabled care and housing: making the connection’ – will explore how TEC can meet these ambitions and establish better links between these sectors.
By attending, delegates will learn more about the main barriers to integrating technology into housing and care. The webinar will also discuss how to improve partnership working between the various stakeholders involved in health, housing and care to transform local places and systems.
A key part of the webinar will be exploring how to engage with stakeholders to embrace the opportunities that technology offers.
Attendees will also find out more about how TEC services can become more proactive and predictive and discuss what Housing LIN should focus on for the year ahead.
Finally, the session will highlight how to increase awareness of the power of assistive technology among the general public.
