Healthcare professionals will be able to take advantage of Etac R82’s CPD seminar on ability-based seating at the upcoming Posture and Mobility Group (PMG) Conference on the 16th-17th of July 2019.

PMG’s annual conference provides education, an industry exhibition and networking events for professionals working in the field of posture and wheeled mobility.

Helping expand healthcare professionals’ knowledge, Etac R82 will be continuing its CPD focus at the event with a presentation by Jo McConnell, OT and Etac Education Manager, entitled: ‘Ability Based Seating – Bridging the gap between medium active and multi-functional wheelchairs’. This is one of the breakout sessions and will be held at 14:15 on Wednesday 17th July.

In a succinct and engaging session, Jo will also be presenting Star Air Cell Cushions for ‘Pitch your Product!’ at 11:30 on Tuesday 16th.

There will also be informal educational sessions available on the Etac stand from Jo and Marika Tornqvist, Etac Global Product Manager for Manual Wheelchairs. Content will include optimising pressure management, evidence-based results and cost-effective product prescribing.  Pressure mapping will also be available on the stand.

Also at the PMG Conference, Etac R82 will showcase popular examples from its adult and paediatric ranges on Stand 15. Convaid EZ Rider, Cruiser and Rodeo buggies will accompany the R82 Stingray and Cricket buggy and Kudu paediatric wheelchair.

The x:panda dynamic seating system will also be available alongside adult Cross 5 and Prio wheelchairs. In terms of pressure management and seating stability, the specialist air-cell Star range from Etac will be available, supported by live pressure mapping demonstrations.

Taking place from the 16th-17th of July 2019, the PMG Conference is being held at the Telford International Centre, St Quentin Gate, Telford TF3 4JH. The doors will open from 8am daily.
