As Manufacturing & Production Director, you will oversee the entire manufacturing process to ensure products are produced efficiently, on time, and within budget.
This role involves managing production planning, quality control, and workforce supervision. Responsible for optimising production workflows, implementing cost-effective production techniques, and maintaining high standards of safety and quality.
You will work closely with other departments, such as supply chain, engineering, and logistics, to co-ordinate production schedules and meet company objectives. Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills are essential for this position.
What you’ll bring to the role:
- Extensive experience in manufacturing and production management within a mid-sized or larger company.
- Proven track record of managing multi-disciplinary teams and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
- Knowledge of industry standards, regulations, and best practices in quality control, lean manufacturing, and supply chain management.
- Strong background in strategic planning, budget management, and cost optimisation to enhance operational efficiency and profitability.
- Strong leadership abilities with a proven track record of mentoring team members, and fostering an environment that encourages independent thinking and problem-solving.
