“Being shortlisted for a Green Apple is an honour and is another welcome piece of good news following on the back of the recent communication from the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE)”

The B-Warm Heated Seat Cover has been shortlisted for a prestigious Green Apple environment award. The annual Green Apple Environment Awards, run by the Green Organisation, an independent, non-political, non-activist, non-profit environment group dedicated to recognising, rewarding and promoting environmental best practice around the world.

Angus Long, Embryonyx managing director, said; “I’m am familiar with the Green Apple Awards and to be shortlisted is a great achievement and testament to the ingenuity of the B-Warm Heated Seat Cover. The B-warm is a low cost, yet extremely effective and energy efficient, method of preventing people from being too cold at home while offering significant therapeutic benefits to users. I believe it was this and the fact the B-Warm may help reduce the number of annual deaths in the UK due to cold homes that has led to it being shortlisted for this year’s Green Apple Awards and we look forward to the result of the judging for the finalists in August.”

B-Warm Inventor, Martin Lewis, was also extremely delighted in learning the news his product made the shortlist: “Being shortlisted for a Green Apple is an honour and is another welcome piece of good news following on the back of the recent communication from the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) that the B-Warm is congruent with their recent guideline aimed at preventing fatalities and illnesses associated with cold homes.”
